Accidental/Unauthorized Roblox Purchase Guide
EU withdrawal rights, platform refund steps, and how to protect the account.
Act quickly and don’t spend the Robux
1) Immediate Steps
- Secure the account: change password, enable 2-step verification, remove unknown devices.
- Do not spend disputed Robux; consider avoiding logins until the case is resolved.
- Gather proof: date/time of charges, order IDs, screenshots, and the payment method used.
2) EU Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
In the EU, consumers typically have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases unless you expressly consented to immediate delivery and waived the right. If the Robux were not used, your case is stronger. Reference the EU guidance below and file with the correct storefront.

3) Pick the Right Refund Path (Where You Paid)
A) Roblox Website / Credit Card
- Contact Roblox Billing via roblox.com/support → Billing & Payments.
- Provide order details, amounts, dates, and that the purchase was accidental/unauthorized.
- If you’re in the EU, cite your 14-day right of withdrawal (if applicable) and that Robux remain unused.
- If truly unauthorized, notify your bank/card issuer to protect against recurring charges.
B) Google Play (Android)
- Start with Google’s refund flow: Google Play refunds.
- If rejected, contact Roblox Support with the order IDs and explain it was accidental/unauthorized.
- For recurring attempts via PayPal/card, cancel the billing agreement in PayPal and alert your bank.
C) Apple App Store (iOS)
- Use Apple’s “Report a Problem” portal and request a refund, stating accidental/unauthorized purchase.
- Then inform Roblox Support with purchase receipts and a note that Robux remain unused.
D) PayPal
- Review and cancel any active billing agreement with Roblox/Google to stop retries.
- Open a dispute for unauthorized transactions if applicable.
- Also keep Roblox Support in the loop with case numbers and evidence.
4) Why the Robux Balance Shows “?”
During billing investigations, Roblox may place an account on temporary moderation and hold the Robux balance. Seeing a “?” is not inherently good or bad—it usually means billing is being reviewed. Avoid spending any balance until you get a decision.

6) FAQs
Will the account be banned?
Accounts can be temporarily moderated during billing reviews. If purchases were truly accidental/unauthorized and Robux are unused, Roblox often restores access after resolution.
How long does billing review take?
Roblox commonly quotes 3–10 days. Marketplace disputes (Google/Apple/PayPal) may vary by provider.
What if my platform refused the refund?
Provide that decision to Roblox Support with evidence and ask them to review from their end, especially if currency is unused.
